Even putting aside the issue of abortion, the verse reminds
me why I have no interest in an organized religion based on a 2000+ year old book.
"He must also take an offering of a tenth of an ephah of barley flour on her behalf. He must not pour olive oil on it or put incense on it, because it is a grain offering for jealousy, a reminder-offering to draw attention to wrongdoing."
It's only missing "eye of newt" and "toe of a frog". Who can take anything literally from a book that has verses such as that.
